Possible new forum location coming soon.

The purpose of this forum is to provide a means for folks to post questions/inquiries pertaining to locations of ancestral loved ones memorials or physical locations of cemeteries, in the state of Ohio. You may submit any question pertaining directly to cemetery research. I do not check this forum every day, so it might take a few days before I find your inquiry. If you find an inquiry that you have personal knowledge of, please feel welcome to post your answer. Kindest regards. Robert

Hello to all that have been so kind to post inquiries and comments here. Overall this is proving very helpful, as many folks have told me they appreciate a place to leave questions and get fairly quick responses. I'm sorry for the hypertext spam that has been appearing on the pages. I had no idea in the beginning this would be an issue, I know some of it must be tolerated especially on free sites. There's been a few adds that are what I would rate as PG or worse, and I especially want this forum to be conducted in a way that is appropriate for all ages. I think a new site will be making itself available soon that will not include spam. As soon as I get the bugs worked out of it, I'll send you all an email invitation to the new forum. Not sure if I can do it yet, but will try to copy and paste your comments from this forum to the new one. Thanks again for your wonderful comments. Will update you as soon as I can get this resolved.
The new site is set up and as soon as I make sure all the issues are worked out, will make an announcement here. My hopes are that I can move all your inquiries to the new site, but seems problematic thus far. Robert

Hello Herb, sorry to say I can't even control the workings at the new forum. Maggie is the webmaster for Ohio, and was trying to help me develop a new cemetery forum where I'd be spared all the spam that gets attached as hypertext to certain words within this forum. I tried to use the new site also, but it's just not working, the site calls me Maggie and although I have all the respect in the world for her abilities, I'd prefer to have a site where I can keep my original given name <grin>. I think for now, I'll just stick with this one, until a web site comes along that I can control better. Sorry for the inconvenience. Robert
