The purpose of this forum is to provide a means for folks to post questions/inquiries pertaining to locations of ancestral loved ones memorials or physical locations of cemeteries, in the state of Ohio. You may submit any question pertaining directly to cemetery research. I do not check this forum every day, so it might take a few days before I find your inquiry. Also, my dad is buried at Congress Memorial (farther south)

If any help available I would really appreciate it.

Holy Cross Cemetery

Dear looghe, There might be someone out there that has knowledge, or willing to help with your search, but unfortunately your description is kind of on the sparse side. Ohio has 88 counties and the number of townships can get staggering, when you consider some counties have as many as 26 or more townships, there's probably over 1,500 townships and when you multiply the number of cemeteries per township can be anywhere from 6 to 12 each or more... If you can narrow the search area down, by letting us know the name of the county and perhaps the name of the town or nearest village, no promises, but someone may be able to help. Kindest regards. Robert,
My Grandparents Howard and Edna Glancy, as well as my Godparents
John and Martha Bryan are buried at Holy Cross Cemetary on Brookpark
Rd in Cleveland, as I stated I took photos but they didn't turn out as well
as I had hoped. My father requested his cremains buried in Congress Memorial, I believe in West Salem. Does that help.
I just had a second surgery on my spine in as many years, and am unable to travel like I used to.

thank- you

Dear Laura, thanks for the update. So sorry to hear of your health issues, my hopes and prayers that you have a fast recovery. I will take down the information you just posted and see if I can find anyone in the area that might be willing to travel to the cemetery for the purpose of photographing the memorial. I have an inventory of many images that have been sent to me from Cleveland area, perhaps this coming weekend I can glean through the hundreds of images pending. No promises that I'll find the image you're looking for, but will check what I have. If I lived closer, would go there, but sorry to say, it's way out of my research area. I reside in Newark, OH, which is just east of Columbus. Robert

Holy Cross Cemetery

Hello again Laura, I don't have an answer yet on your dad's burial picture, and sorry to say, did not find any pictures of your families memorials in my file. I did find an address for Holy Cross Cemetery, which might give you an avenue of hope for images. No promises, but there may be someone at the cemetery office that knows of a person willing to take and send you an image, they surely will at least give you the section, row and plot numbers for your family members buried there. Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Rd., Cleveland, 44142 - phone# - (216) 267-2850
Good luck with your search. Robert

another good place to post memorials is www.findagrave.com you can add the memorials and put in a photo request for that memorial. Volunteers will go to the cemetery and take the pics and post them on the memorial.
